Camp Lunch, Transport and Collection: A Singapore Checklist
Check camp meals, transport and collection arrangements in Singapore with a venue-specific checklist to complete before your child attends.

Before booking a camp, it's vital to confirm how your child gets there, what they will eat, and who can collect them. These practical details can vary between camp venues in Singapore, even when run by the same provider. Keeping a written checklist for the exact camp week—including meals, transport arrangements, and authorised collection procedures—helps ensure the first day and every day after runs smoothly for your family.
Confirm Meals and Snacks for Your Specific Venue
A key question for any parent is whether holiday camp includes lunch. At ProActiv Sports, a nutritious daily lunch is provided at almost all our camp locations, taking one thing off your to-do list. This is true for our flagship multi-activity camps at Prodigy at Katong Point and most of our partner school venues.
However, there is one main exception to be aware of. For camps held at the OCBC Arena, parents are required to pack a lunch for their child. All other equipment is provided, but food is not included at this specific venue.
While lunch is sorted at most locations, we always recommend packing a couple of healthy, easy-to-eat snacks and a refillable water bottle. Kids get hungry with all the activity, and having a familiar snack on hand is always a good idea. Always confirm the meal arrangement for your specific venue when you book.
How to Communicate Dietary Needs
If your child has any allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements, clear communication is essential. The most important step is to provide this information accurately on the registration form when you sign up. This written record is the primary source of information for our coaching team.
For extra peace of mind, we also encourage parents to have a quick word with the head coach on the first morning of camp. Pointing out your child and briefly reiterating their dietary needs helps ensure the message is received and understood by the on-site team who will be supervising lunch and snack times.
Check Camp Transport and Drop-Off Logistics
Transport varies by venue and booking format. The International French School full-day camp information lists a bus service, while other venues require you to confirm transport directly. Do not assume a bus is included in the camp fee; check availability, routes and any separate charges.
We partner with schools and clubs across Singapore—from Katong to Ang Mo Kio and Dover—to host our Singapore holiday camps, making it easier for families to find a convenient location close to home or work. Be sure to check the exact address and find the designated drop-off point before the first day to avoid any morning rush.
Record Arrival and Authorised Collection Details
Knowing the camp schedule is crucial. Our full-day camps typically run from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Some venues may also offer half-day options, so be sure to confirm the exact start and end times for your child's booking.
It is just as important to be clear about who is authorised to collect your child. For their safety, our coaches need to know who to expect at pick-up time. If a different family member, helper, or friend will be collecting your child, please inform the camp manager or head coach in advance. A quick message on the day is usually sufficient, but having a clear plan ensures a safe and secure handover.
Create a One-Page Handover Note for the Family
To help everyone in the family stay organised, a simple one-page checklist can be a lifesaver. It’s a great tool to stick on the fridge or share with another guardian or helper who might be managing the camp run. It ensures all the key details for the week are in one place.
Here is a simple template you can use:
| Camp Logistics Checklist | Details |
|---|---|
| Child's Name | |
| Camp Venue & Address | |
| Camp Week Dates | |
| Drop-off Time | e.g., 9:00am |
| Collection Time | e.g., 3:00pm |
| Lunch Provided? (Y/N) | Confirm for your specific venue |
| Packed Lunch/Snacks | e.g., Pack lunch for OCBC Arena; pack 2 healthy snacks for all camps. |
| Authorised Collection | List names of authorised adults. |
| Camp Contact Info | Note the provider's contact number. |
| What to Wear/Bring | Sports clothes, trainers, hat, water bottle, sunscreen. |
Taking a few minutes to complete this before camp begins can save a lot of time and prevent any last-minute confusion.
Planning these logistics ahead of time helps your child’s camp experience start off on the right foot. With meals, transport, and collection sorted, they can focus on what matters: having fun, making friends, and learning new skills.
Questions parents ask
Is lunch included at every ProActiv Sports camp venue?
A nutritious lunch is included at most of our Singapore holiday camp venues, including our flagship Prodigy location. The main exception is the OCBC Arena, where parents will need to provide a packed lunch for their child. It's always best to confirm the arrangement for your specific venue when booking.
Does a camp booking include transport?
Not automatically. Some formats, including the advertised International French School full-day option, list a bus service. Check your exact venue, eligibility, route and charges; otherwise plan your own drop-off and collection.
What should another adult know before collecting my child?
If another guardian, friend, or helper is collecting your child, they should know the exact collection time and location at the venue. For safety, please inform our camp team in advance who will be collecting your child so our coaches know who to expect.
