If your child enjoys sport and wants to explore how they move, an athletic performance camp can offer a different kind of school-break experience. Rather than concentrating on a single game, it makes room for strength, speed, agility and other movement skills.

What does the programme cover?

ProActiv's Hong Kong Athletic Performance Camp is designed for ages 8–15. The five-day programme combines age-appropriate movement challenges with topics such as sports science, nutrition and mental performance. The camp page also outlines activities at ProGym Cyberport and Deep Water Bay, including a supervised beach-safety element.

Focus on individual progress

The programme includes an initial movement assessment and a reassessment towards the end. Treat these as a way to notice what your child has learned, not as a competition with other campers. Ask them which activity helped them feel more capable and which one they would like to keep practising.

Before you book

Read the current schedule and venue information. If your child has an injury, accessibility requirement or other support need, speak to the team before enrolling so you can discuss whether the activities are appropriate. Pack according to the current camp instructions, especially for any off-site activities.
